Troy takes to
the air!!!
Great interest was shown by Troy Corser in all things aeronautical at
the informal Team ADVF Ducati post-Laguna Seca dinner at one of Monterey's top restaurants
'Montrio'.
In between chomping into a New York steak and a Chocolate Fudge Cheesecake, our man on the
track found the time to exchange words about speed and technology with a couple of
aviation experts, friends of team manager Virginio
Ferrari, invited along for the Laguna Seca round.
Troy and Virginio were particular interested in the latest 'stealth' technology
and were seen to be in top secret conversation with former US Air Force Stealth Fighter
pilot, Blair Bozak |

.. maybe to bring this sort
of stuff into World Superbikes!
Just think, radar-reflecting carbon-fibre bodies on the Ducati 916.
Whatever will they think of next! Anyway, the 916 would go so fast it wouldn't appear on
the timing screens, so it's probably not such a good idea after all! The aviation experts
were impressed with Troy's top speed on the Laguna track and were interested in all the
aspects that make the race-winning Ducati 916 tick, while Troy wanted to know more about
the B2 Stealth Bomber, the Stealth Fighter and a stealth-technology pilotless drone glider
(all clearly top-secret stuff which we can't reveal here!!).
