Troy makes supporters happy...

Our man Troy Corser was really busy at the Kyalami World Superbike Round.
As well as his regular qualifying and raceday activities, Troy found the time to make a couple of hometown supporters happy with some locally-organized initiatives.

17 year-old Carla Van Der Graaf from Springs, South Africa, won first prize in a local TV contest. Her prize was a couple of laps as pillion rider to Troy Corser on a brand-new yellow Ducati 900SS, one of the first bikes to be imported anywhere in the world. Carla couldn’t contain her enthusiasm after the ride: ‘It was great’ she gushed, ‘he did a wheelie and a doughnut ... really fantastic’.

Troy was also involved with the South African organization ‘ Reach for a Dream’ which helps terminally-ill kids. The greatest wish of 7 year-old cancer child Bianca was to meet Troy Corser ... and her wish was granted.

Team Manager Virginio Ferrar took Bianca to the pits during a lull in Superbike activity and her photograph was taken with Troy and the Ducati ADVF team. On this occasion, Troy really made her day!
