Troy makes supporters happy...
Our man Troy Corser was really busy at the Kyalami
World Superbike Round. 17 year-old Carla Van Der Graaf from Springs, South Africa, won first prize in a local TV contest. Her prize was a couple of laps as pillion rider to Troy Corser on a brand-new yellow Ducati 900SS, one of the first bikes to be imported anywhere in the world. Carla couldnt contain her enthusiasm after the ride: It was great she gushed, he did a wheelie and a doughnut ... really fantastic. Troy was also involved with the South African organization Reach for a Dream which helps terminally-ill kids. The greatest wish of 7 year-old cancer child Bianca was to meet Troy Corser ... and her wish was granted. Team Manager Virginio Ferrar took Bianca to the pits during a lull in Superbike activity and her photograph was taken with Troy and the Ducati ADVF team. On this occasion, Troy really made her day! |
