Relaxing with my family
In preparation for the last four races of the season, I'm enjoying my time relaxing at home with the family including my newborn daughter. Enjoying the quiet moments and the not-so-quiet moments with Kalani (2) and Kelisa, 5 weeks.
I'm looking forward to the last races, approaching each race the same as always. The last circuits are all ones that I like so I am concentrating on making the most of each round. If I can do that and maintain my consistency the Championship will come to me.
I've been enjoying some home time, hanging out with the family, watching the kids grow. Kalani is a fun little boy now and keeps us entertained and busy all day long. Kelisa is doing great. She's been piling on the pounds and is really alert. She started smiling on her 5 week birthday!
My newborn Kelisa's name pays respect to our friend, Kirk McCarthy, who passed away following a racing accident a year ago. The initials of Kelisa Iliana-Rose Corser spell Kirc. I still wears a black armband at every race in respect of my mate and famously dedicated both race wins to his memory earlier this year at Phillip Island. |
