Kalani's first Christmas

Christmas 2003 will always be a special one for us as it was really awesome having Kalani as a new addition to our Christmas celebrations.

Christmas Day was pretty much as per normal, our usual schedule of eating, drinking, giving and receiving presents, meeting up with family, etc. was much the same, except we had to pay attention to Kalani's eating and sleeping habits! He settled into a pretty good routine almost straight away when we got over to Australia but Christmas Day was actually about one of the first days we got a reasonable sleep in. I am sure the start time is just gonna get earlier and earlier as he gets older. I think Maddie had been up since about 6.30am!

Sam's mother, Linda (Nanny England as she is known) had flown out too to join us for Kalani's first Christmas so it was really nice to have everyone together. It's what Christmas is all about. Here are a couple of pictures. Kalani just loves to walk around (at speed) in his new walker. I don't think he'll be slow getting up on two feet. He is trying to work out the crawling thing at the moment but to be honest he seems more interested in the assisted walking. We were tempted to try and get him a little bike to play on but Sam wants him to have golf clubs first!!! Maybe next Christmas!!

Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. Our best wishes to you all for a happy, healthy and successful 2004.

Later, Troy
