This year I spent my birthday in complete luxury at a wonderful chalet in the Italian mountains. Sam organised for us and some friends, David and Asa and Jay and Sonja, to join us at this wonderful chalet, appropriately named Wonderfall. From the pictures you can see why! Friends of ours here in Monaco, Kate and Didier, have been working on the chalet for the last three years and have furnished the entire place in different typical American themes. All the rooms are decorated slightly differently, choosing between different styles... Montana, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Texas etc etc. It is an absolutely amazing place.
During our stay we all prayed for snow and we got 70cm overnight!!! That was the biggest snowfall they had had in a single night in years and it really made the place a winter wonderland. You couldn't help but think of Christmas in a place like that. Tyson had his first taste of snow and had so much fun running around in it. He looked like a rabbit. Kalani had got a little bit of a cold so we didn't have him outside much at all, just to meet Frosty the snowman!
Now we want to go back and stay in all the other rooms!!!!
