It was really great at Monza to see some familiar faces back in the paddock, along with their new additions;James and Andrea Whitham were there, as James is doing some guest commentating for Eurosport (and doing a great job too), along with their baby Ruby (shown here asleep!) Ruby was born last November and it was really good to see the three of them looking well and happy, relaxed and content.
Another welcome visitor, who I used to spend more time racing scooters around the paddock with and am now more likely to get into a pram pushing contest with, was Colin Edwards. Col was there with Alyssia and proudly showing off their new baby Gracie, who arrived January of this year. Sam was getting some practice in giving Gracie some cuddles and was more than happy when she got one of the first photos of her smiling!!
How times have changed... we seemed to talk about babies and prams and cots more so than bikes and engines and tyres!!! It was great to have them all there again.
