Today, it would be impossible not to feel sadness for the innocent victims of the terrorist attack on New York City one year ago today. So many people lost their lives, their loved ones, their friends or colleagues in such tragic circumstances.
We were fortunate enough to have visited the World Trade Center on our one visit to New York and it is hard to imagine the New York skyline without them. And a lot harder to empathise with those families who have loved and lost.
My sincerest condolences go out to everyone involved in the tragedy and I hope for the future that New York City, and the rest of the world, will make a full yet heartbreaking recovery.
