Finding it hard to talk about losing Craig Jones at the weekend.
It is such a sad loss, to us as a friend and to the world of motorcycle racing who just lost one of Britain's great hopes.
Craig was certainly a fast and dedicated rider and had his whole career still ahead of him. It is a sad day for me as a friend to know that his smiling face, his laugh, our barbq days are over. I enjoyed a great day with him this week at the Burning to Learn golf day. At golf, he made a great bike rider!!! My times with him have been fun, full of laughter, and I hoped for many more.
To know he went out, fighting for the lead, in front of his home crowd, breaks my heart, but somehow I feel it was the exit of a Champion, doing what he loved.
